Chocolate Tasting

Chocolate tasting led by Tracey Chapman on 5th March

Can you taste apricots? Brazil nuts? Caramel? We had great fun tantalising our taste buds with delicious chocolate at our recent tasting event. We learnt how craft chocolate is made, what makes it different from industrial chocolate and how to taste using all of our senses. Members commented that it was a real eye-opener actually to focus on a product that you might otherwise just gobble up without much consideration of its complexity, and also to get a sense of how quality makes itself felt on your taste buds!
