Agenda

The 2017 AGM of OUSoc Bristol and Bath took place at 6:30pm at the Francis Hotel in Bath.

The topic of the annual dinner speech was:

"The truth, the post-truth and the death of truth: Some reflections on the crisis in public life."

The speech was delivered by Professor Robert Vilain, who is Lecturer in German at Christ Church as well as Professor of German and Comparative Literature at the University of Bristol and Warden of Wills Hall.

Annual Dinner and AGM

Venue: The Square Club, Berkeley Square, Bristol, BS8 1HB (map)

Price: £30 per person

The University of Oxford alumni, current students and their guests are invited to attend the 2018 AGM/Dinner. Berkeley Square is a short (uphill!) walk from the Bristol city centre and buses from Temple Meads Station go nearby.

Papers for the AGM have been sent out to members by email. The AGM is envisaged to take about 30 minutes at the start of the evening.
